State Finance Minister Amit Mitra has complained that the Prime Minister has broken the tradition of reducing tax on one-way basis by ignoring the GST Council. Her complaint to Netanyahu on Thursday, that the Prime Minister's remarks on the reduction of GS before the meeting reduced the council's rights. Besides, Amit Babu has also questioned how the Prime Minister can announce this during the session of Parliament.
The new indirect tax system has been implemented in the country by amending the constitution. Under the law, the GST Council is now responsible for determining the rate of GST. The central finance minister is on whose head Finance ministers of different states are members of this committee. The tax increase has been decreasing so far, all of which have been done on the basis of unanimous decision in the council. Before the proposal was submitted to the council, the Prime Minister announced that the remaining GSP will be reduced to 28 percent of the G2C except for air, cigarette, alcohol and SUV. It will come in 18 percent. It seems to be against the rule of Nabanna.
Amit Babu said, "The Prime Minister has undermined the rights of the GST Council formed under Article 279 / A of the Constitution. Alcohol was outside the GS. Such a big announcement pushed the existence of the GST Council. "The same complaint was also made by Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal.
